Hard agree on the Black Bay GMT. The legibility of the GMT hand is not good (so many snowflake hands with indistinct colors all over that dial!), especially when compared to the interior GMT ring and contrasting GMT hand of the Fortis.
I’m also thumbs down for any 24-hour bezel—even on the Grand Seiko—they feel like a screaming distraction from the harmony of the watch.
Ed, you need to ask JVL to get an “Ed Is Always Right” t-shirt up on the Escapement March site ASAP!
Ok I have the full gold rolex rootbeer and the Rolex two tone rootbeer and Batman and Pepsi jubilee and I got the Tudor Pepsi but it's a faarrrrr cry from Rolex. It's clunky. If you are gonna hate on a solid gold rolex be sure to own one preferably the rose gold or white gold variety before hating on them

The dial on the Shosho is gorgeous. But doesn’t it detract from its readability?
