"The DW-5600 was officially certified by NASA for space flight. Space-certified G-Shock models included the DW-5600C, DW-5600E, DW-5900, DW-6900, and G-9000. The DW-5600 was a popular watch with astronauts during the Space Shuttle era, as it helped them to follow their schedule of tasks, and functions like the stopwatch and countdown timer were useful for timing mission events and running experiments. The DW-5600 is on display at the 'Moving Beyond Earth' exhibition at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, where it is described by NASA as 'crew preferred.'”
Honestly they’ve just never been my jam. Their pilots watches are too cluttered for me, and while they have a coherent design language it’s not one I speak.
So sounds you're just not a fan of the Breitling design or ascetic, but there's not an issue with their actual function or anything like that? If I personally like the style, color, mechanical features, price point, etc of a Breitling, It would be ok to go with one?
Great article. I am here for all the SpeedSwatch hate. And maybe I’m missing something here, but how does one tell the time in the dark on a Stratoliner?
Space watch? Paste:

Doesn't specifically say that it went to space, but it does say "NASA" on it.
Short time reader, first time commenter…why the Breitling shudder? I’ll hang up and listen.

Follow up question for the uninitiated…the Seventies Gluashette Original Seventies vintage? I have much to learn.
Appreciate the insight…here to learn the game.
I defy you to explain to me how to use the slide rule function on the Navitimer. Or to read any of the numbers/text without a loupe.
$10+k for that white thingy? Oy.
swatch.

The hands are lumed too, the shot in the post is under a black light to just show the blue paint.
Ahh. So I was missing something. I can see that in the videos on their website now that I look.
